Rachel Dove – Chiropractor

H i, my name is Rachel, and I am from Teesside. I graduated with a degree in Sports Therapy in 2013, driven by my longstanding passion for sports, which includes participation in activities such as horse riding, netball, and hockey. In January 2014, I joined Stockton Chiropractic Clinic as a sports therapist, where I discovered my dedication to helping individuals recover from injuries and return to their chosen activities.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with various rugby teams, which has provided me with remarkable opportunities to travel, including trips to Australia and Dubai. My experiences at Stockton chiropractic clinic as part of the team have deepened my appreciation for chiropractic care, prompting me to return to university to pursue a degree in Chiropractic. I graduated from Teesside University as part of its inaugural cohort in July 2024. Since then, I have integrated my expertise in sports therapy and chiropractic care to develop comprehensive treatment and management plans for my patients. It is incredibly rewarding to see their progress and achievements.

In addition to my clinical work, I have been practicing Pilates since childhood and completed my matwork certification with The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute in 2014. I teach various classes and one-on-one sessions, helping people improve their strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being. I have also pursued continuing professional development in specialised areas, including Pilates for menopause, ante-natal and post-natal Pilates, and HIIT Pilates. I have recently extended this further and just completed my reformer Pilates training and will look to start teaching both classes and 1:1 in the very near future.

To complement my Pilates instruction, I hold qualifications in personal training and fitness instruction, allowing me to create tailored management plans that align with individual goals and training preferences.
Outside of my professional commitments, I maintain an active lifestyle by regularly training at the gym, focusing on weight training and cardiovascular exercise. I also enjoy spending time outdoors going for walks with my two dogs, who keep me busy.
